Having a local park is so important for the growth of our community. Economy is a rural town and needs a local place for our children to play.  The park also includes a fenced in tennis court/pickleball court and a basketball court, which will eventually need updating.  The old playground equipment located on the blacktop will be removed and the new equipment will be moved to the grassy area of the park.  The following equipment will be installed :

• Kid's Perch- includes climbing structures and slides
• Ten Spin
• Swing set
• Includes all of the installation and ground cover​

If we raise $50,000 through tax-deductible donations, we will be matched through the Creating Places Grant. This is a all or nothing program.  If this crowdfunding campaign achieves the $50,000 public donations goal within the 60-day period, IHCDA will provide a $50,000 match.  If we fail to reach the $50,000 public goal in the allotted time, there will be no match and there will be no new playground equipment.

All contributors will receive a letter acknowledging their tax-deductible donation and will be recognized with a plaque prominently displayed at the park.
